Overview
This project supported WaterStep, a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe water, sanitation, and health education to communities in need. My goal was to create a branded merchandise campaign that would raise awareness, strengthen community connections, and support WaterStep’s life-saving mission.
The Challenge
WaterStep needed a visual campaign that would resonate with socially conscious people between the ages of 20 and 50—individuals who value real change and want to make a difference. I set out to design a collection of merchandise and promotional materials that would inspire support, motivate volunteers, and represent the heart of the cause.
My Solution
I created a cohesive set of visuals, starting with logos, slogans, and sticker designs to introduce the campaign. For the official launch, I developed mockups for t-shirts and tote bags—items that people could proudly wear and use to show their support. I also designed posters, pins, and a volunteer reward card to help build community engagement.
To keep everything aligned with WaterStep’s identity, I used their established color palette and a clean, friendly design style. I focused on simple, hopeful messaging and avoided anything overly corporate or complex. All of the assets were designed for flexibility and could be used in both print and digital formats.
The Outcome
This project allowed me to connect design with purpose. By creating everyday items with meaningful messages, I gave WaterStep supporters a way to carry the mission with them—literally and visually. The campaign helped amplify WaterStep’s voice and encouraged more people to get involved in making a global impact through clean water.
